Why there is no fixed price list
An office with a VRF system is not maintained like a supermarket with a two-temperature refrigeration pack, a warehouse with three rooftop units, or a food plant with blast freezers and a solar array on the roof. The equipment changes, so do refrigerant charges, running hours, the environment (salt air on the coast, kitchen grease, warehouse dust) and what an hour of downtime costs you.
That is why ITAFE PRO Business has no catalogue price. Every proposal starts with a visit and an audit of your site: an inventory of the equipment, its real condition, breakdown history, legal obligations and your operating hours. From that we set the visits, the tasks and the quote. You pay for what your installation needs. No padding, no gaps.
Pay the way that suits you: we make it easy
There are several ways to pay for your maintenance, and you choose the one that suits your business in the proposal. To make life easier, we also give you this option: spreading the annual amount into fixed monthly direct debits, up to 12 instalments. No large payment at the start of the year and no invoices that swing from month to month depending on what broke. Your finance team knows from day one what it costs to keep the plant in shape and can budget it like any other operating cost.
It is the same principle behind the big home-service companies in Europe, applied to commercial sites: maintenance stops being an emergency that turns up unannounced and becomes a fixed, predictable line.
Planned preventive maintenance, not firefighting
Most serious failures in commercial cooling and refrigeration give warning first: a compressor short-cycling, a condensing pressure that creeps up every summer, an evaporator that no longer defrosts cleanly, a small leak slowly emptying the circuit. Planned preventive maintenance is there to catch them in time.
On every visit we check pressures, temperatures, electrical loads, coils, fans, filters, condensate drains, defrost cycles and electrical connections, and we leave a written report of what was done, what we found and what should be planned. Repairs are then decided calmly, not with a cold room full of stock.
Cooling, refrigeration and solar under one contract
This is where ITAFE is different. Air conditioning and refrigeration are almost always the biggest electricity load in a hotel, a supermarket or a warehouse, and the solar array on the roof is there precisely to pay for part of it. When each is maintained by a different company, nobody looks at the whole picture.
With ITAFE PRO Business the same team maintains the plant that consumes and the solar installation that feeds it: panel cleaning, inverter and protection checks, production monitoring and spotting drops in yield. If the array produces less, we see it. If the refrigeration uses more, we see that too.

If the visit turns up equipment that needs putting right before it can join, we tell you clearly and in writing, with a separate quote. What businesses ask before signing a maintenance contract.
What does a commercial HVAC and refrigeration maintenance contract with ITAFE include?
Planned preventive maintenance visits with a report, priority on breakdowns and 24 h emergencies, a named technician who knows your site, and the mandatory paperwork (F-Gas leak checks, RITE maintenance logbook, RSIF records for refrigeration). If you have a solar plant, its maintenance and monitoring too. The exact tasks and frequencies are set out in writing in your proposal.
How is the annual maintenance paid?
However suits you best: there are several payment options and we agree the one you prefer in the proposal. The easiest is to spread the annual amount into fixed monthly direct debits, up to 12 instalments: you know what you pay each month and can budget it like any other operating cost, with no large payment at the start of the year.
Is there a minimum term?
The contract is annual and paid in whichever way you choose. Term, renewal and cancellation conditions are set out in writing in the proposal before you sign. No small print.
What happens if something breaks down between visits?
You call us and your request goes ahead of customers without a contract, with 24 h emergency cover all year. The technician who attends already knows your site and its history. Repairs and parts are quoted separately and approved before any work. Nothing is touched without your go-ahead.
Do you maintain installations you did not install?
We decide that at the initial audit, because no installation joins without one: we check its condition and, if it needs putting right first, we tell you in writing with a separate quote.
Is a maintenance contract a legal requirement in Spain?
Spain's RITE regulation requires thermal installations to be maintained and, above 70 kW, a contract with an authorised maintenance company. Regulation (EU) 2024/573 requires leak checks according to refrigerant charge, and the RSIF governs refrigeration installations. ITAFE PRO Business keeps all of that paperwork for you.
